January 29, 2015

I took this image in the Math and Science building at Texas High. There are nine images in this one photograph, some parts you will see where the images connected. I took three pictures on three different rows. One row above her head, one row in the middle catching her body, and the final row was below her. To combine all these images together, I used photoshop to merge them all. This was the result image for the pictures I took. It's not perfect, but I'm pleased that I dinally got the image somewhat right.

I took these photographs outside of my house on a Sunday afternoon. I changed the settings on my camera to get the last two images into black and white. I postioned myself in a weird squat to get the angles that I wanted to get without getting mud all over my butt. Out of the many images I took, these are the images that I favored most.

January 22, 2015

This blog has no image because I failed to upload my picture at school. The photo was too big to upload to the blog, so I resized it and it still didn't work. I will try and add the image to this blog at a later time.

In this blog, I took several pictures to create one image using Photoshop. I failed misrebally, only two of my pictures merged together and even then it was fully correct. I will be trying to better myself at this specific skill and learn how to get one correct.

I took these photos outside the ninth grade building at Texas High for my third attempt at overpowering the sun. These pictures have a "perfect" histogram. I had an off camera flash sitting on a light stand with and umbrella with the reflecting side facing her. I set the light stand in front of her and had her somewhat face me, and the flash. It took me a while, but I feel confident in these images.

I took these pictures outside the Ninth grade building at Texas High school. I used an off camera flash, with an umbrella and a canon rebel. This was my second attempt to overpower the sun with an off camera flash, my progess has increased and I am getting close to accomplishing this goal.

I took these pictures outside the ninth grade building at Texas High. My instructor challeneged me to overpower the sun, and these are a few attempts I made to do so. I didn't do very well at accomplishing this, but I will keep trying until I get a perfectly exposed picture.

These are my photos for today's blog. I know they aren't the best of my images, and I know that I most likely will not impress anyone with these..  They are underexposed and I should have done better. These images are not recent, I haven't really felt inspired to shoot anything great right now.. I know that is no excuse to give crappy photos, but its better than posting nothing and getting a bad grade.. I will make up for these bad images.

I took these two photographs at the hospital while my mom was in there for the first time during December.. It was very hard to go through that and is still something my family is having to struggle with. I didn't take many pictures, but of the ones I did these two were my favorite. I just faced the window and got somewhat close to where I could see the reflection through the lens.
