I took these pictures in my bedroom, in attempts to clear my mind. I will admit, I tend to use photography as my escape from the world around me, and it really helps me cope with things and clear my mind. I took these photos after getting my bedroom blacked out, using a LED light as the only lighting used in the picture. I hung a fleece blanket over my dresser, tacked to the wall to have a solid background color. I set my camera up on a tripod and angled it the way I wanted the pictures to appear to be. I slowed the shutter speed down so I could have time to "paint" my image the way I wanted to.  In the first image I used the plain light to make my wine bottles appear, and then placed a colored sticky note over the light and played with the lines, giving me the pink lights. The second image I used a red laser light and one of my dad's green lights, along with the white LED light. I have fun when I do pictures like these. You never really know the final result you will get when you just let lose and have fun.
