The first three images on this blog were taken in Shreveport at the beginning of Spring Break. My parents wanted to take a trip down to Shreveport to stay the night in Sams Town. We were walking around the Boardwalk looking around, while they were looking around I was taking pictures at every opportunity that I had. I took a TON of pictures that day, and a few more on the next day. Although I took many pictures, half of them turned out to having sun spots on parts of the image. I didn't realize that some of them had them on, but the ones that I did realize I didn't fix them because I was not thinking of the correct way to fix it by blocking the light on the camera with my hand, I was thinking that if I changed the settings the image would then be correct. I should have known how to fix it because the solution was an easy fix, but I was not that bight... In the last image on this blog, I took it at my school during class. I wanted to go out and try and get more images and hopefully get an amazing one but I don't think that worked out that well. I am trying to become a person that will see something and know if it would make a good picture, great picture, or an amazing picture. I really want my work to be something people can look at and fall in love with. I know with the help of my Instructor, Clint Smith, I can become one of those people. He has helped me so much within one school year. I hate the fact that school is almost over because I won't have him as my Instructor anymore. I hope that after graduation he will still let me ask him questions about photography and that my work will make him proud of me. There will be more photos to come on architecture and soon, thematic.
